Calls business XXXX and leaves pre-recorded message for xxxxx to call. i called back and said it is me but they want me to confirm address, etc. i said i will not answer any questions, but please tell me what debt i owe. he indicated he can not proceed without verification. well, they have enough info to call my business ... .for which i return the call. but i will not give them more ammunition to continue harassing me. i owe no debts to anyone. i get nothing in the mail trying to collect debts other than some college thing from XXXX for {$200.00} ... .that now seems to be $ XXXX depending on what agency is buying it. if this is what they are calling about, i am shocked a college debt 20 years ago is still trying to be collected. i do n't even remember the complaint i had with the original company back then, but there was a reason. the company calling is penn credit www.penncredit.com XXXX.

PennCredit XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX PA XXXX PennCredit sent a demand for payment dated XX/XX/XXXX in the amount of {$290.00} from XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have a Final bill from XXXX XXXX in the amount of {$79.00} dated XX/XX/XXXX. This has went through several companies and each one has dropped it because of lack of proof. In XXXX XXXX XXXX admitted a glitch in their billing system and couldn't find what the extra on the bill was for, but has continued trying to collect an amount way over actual amount owed. PennCredit decided to turn it in to all three credit reporting agencies without proof of debt. Responded with a dispute letter but said they never received it and was possibly due to a recent address change. Turned the unproven debt into all 3 reporting credit bureaus before I could answer their demand. Brought my credit score down 50 points seriously damaging my credit score.

A phone number ( XXXX ) keeps calling for me asking for someone that doesn't live there and have never lived there. The name they are asking for is different from my last name.
I have told them, the person that they are calling for doesn't live there and please stop calling. They call several times a day. This has been going on since XX/XX/XXXX and I have asked them 3 times to stop calling.
