XXXX The company got this debt from XXXX. I asked a for copy of the original bill from XXXX and was told that I would recieve it in 6-7 weeks because it was in a storage warehouse somewhere. That was XXXX XXXX XXXX and today is XXXX XXXX XXXX and I called to ask why I never recieved anything. I was told that it was sent to the wrong address, however she had my current address and saw notes from the XXXX XXXX conversation when I confirmed that they had the correct address. XXXX this debt is from XXXX from an account that the time I disconnected due to moving. I gave XXXX a forwarding address to send a box for me to send back the equipment however I never recieved that box until XXXX of XXXX. I sent back the equipment and recieved XXXX refund checks for overpayment. And in a statement I recieved from XXXX on XXXX XXXX XXXX I recieved a " Revised Final Bill '' and amount due was {$.00}. That same statement shows XXXX of the refunds. So this debt they 're trying to collect which XXXX itself told me didnt exist was already taken care of before being reported to the current collection agency. This account charged off in XXXX and was reopened in XXXX. My credit score has severely suffered and affected my ability to buy a home and recieve a good interest rate on anything else. I have original document from XXXX and even have the original order number show what services I ordered. The only excuse the collector gave me is saying that I had XXXX accounts with XXXX indicating that i had separate services when my original purchase order and ALL documentation I have shows " XXXX Triple Play '' and only XXXX account number which does n't match the XXXX on the collection notice.

DEBT RECOVERY SOLUTIONS is trying to collect a debt that was turned over to them from XXXX that concerns a loan that was opened in my name by means of identity theft. I have a comprehensive report from XXXX, a consumer reporting company, that states my social security number was being used by another individual that wasn't me and that I am a victim of identity theft. The report goes on to inform me of my rights and what to do next. I have already spoken to a representative from XXXX and XXXX and both companies have issued a fraud alert for this account. I want to file a formal police report and find out and prosecute whomever is responsible for this, and for stealing my identity to the fullest extent of the law. This fraudulent account may be the first of many, but I hope not as I have diligently been working towards rebuilding my credit and had already been seeing anomalies prompting the investigation I requested by XXXX. My credit was dramatically improving, yet I was still being denied loans and turned down on credit card offers. A thief took advantage of my hard work and beat me to the chase using my identity to secure loans and who knows what else before I got to reap any kind of benefit for improving my credit and taking care of debts. It disgusts me and quite frankly makes me mad enough to physically fight whoever is responsible.

This account was created from drs it shows up on my credit as the exact same amount billed on the same day two times. Somehow they have put a duplicate charge on my credit report for the same date time and amount. I have disputed this and they sold off the account numerous times then added the two together and took XXXX dollar off after I disputed the double charge to get around what they are doing. They keep reposting this incorrect information on my credit report by selling it every time I dispute it.

On XX/XX/2023, I sent a debt validation letter to Debt Recovery Solutions, this letter explicitly requested the agreement between the original creditor that grants the authority to collect the alleged debt, the date of the original delinquency, verification that the debt was assigned or sold to the collector, and proof that they are licensed in my state to collect debt. On XX/XX/2023 XXXX XXXX sent an EMAIL with a copy of the original contract. I responded stating that the following items requested were not validated, in turn I was told to refer to the original email.
Upon further investigation of the original contract, it is shown that this debt has been Re-aged by the collector. This is illegal due to FCRA Section 623 ( 5 ) ( A ) and I will exercise my rights to have this removed immediately from my credit report.

I had previously noticed this was on my credit report a few months ago. I sent out validation letters asking them to validate this debt they said I owed. They couldn't and by law the debt had to.oh been removed. I looked at my credit report and noticed this same debt collextor on there for the same debt, but they changed the open date!! The open date now is saying XX/XX/2018. This debt is about 3-4 years old. Its against the law to re age a collection. Another thing is I was NEVER notified before this. This company is a joke and honestly shouldn't be in bussiness. I have laws under the fair debt that protect me and my rights with this company have been broken.

They have contacted me several times over the same debt that they have sold to various companies. I asked them to stop calling me on my cell phone and they have called my work also even after i told them to stop. This company has reported the same debt on my credit report 2 times for the same bill and will not remove them.
