I reached out to Merchants Credit Guide on XX/XX/2020. Spoke with Miss XXXX OP ID XXXX in regards to ( 2 collection accounts for medical services. ) The original debtor and the collection agency mentioned above have failed to comply with FCRA regulations to notify of debt so I can attempt to dispute if needed. I never received anything. I reached out today to request verification of debt. They would not send the information requested. I have asked that because I was not notified and the debt was unjustly reported to the credit agencies that this debt be removed. I have verified that I do owe this debt and it was missed. However, the debt was not properly reported to me allowing me an opportunity to dispute or resolve. I offered to pay Miss XXXX today, in full, as long as she can provide me something in writing that states these debts would be removed from all 3-trade lines. She indicated that today they are actually offering that to all accounts paid to XXXX and there cause for offering this is because of the Corona Virus and they are trying to help people out given the current circumstances across the country but cant provide me that in writing. She stated, " Oh no they wouldn't put that in writing ''. Therefore, she is telling me they will remove the debt from the trade lines, but can not put that in writing to offer validation of statement. According to Miss XXXX she advised her supervisor Mr. XXXX and either her or Mr. XXXX would be calling me back today.
It is now XXXX Eastern time on XX/XX/2020 and I have not heard from them.
Therefore, I demand that the accounts held by : MERCHANTS CREDIT GUIDE XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, IL XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX In the single amounts of : {$160.00} and {$300.00} For XXXX XXXX XXXX of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX KY Be removed from my credit report in an effort to make my credit report whole and true such as it did prior to these debts being reported and unjustly so.
If Merchants is willing to provide me with a letter stating that once these debts are paid in full the 2 collection accounts will be removed from my credit report at all three trade lines in an effort to make my credit report whole again as explained above. Then and only then will I provide payment.

I have a collection account on my credit reports from Merchant 's Credit Guide for a some kind of medical collection from a radiology place. I have no idea what this is and I have attempted disputing this with the credit bureaus and have not had any success in getting this resolved. This needs to be removed from my credit reports. This does not belong to me.

In XXXX of XXXX I noticed my credit report showed a new collection from a company called Merchant Credit Gui. in the amount of {$220.00} to a medical account with no information provided.
I immediately contacted the collection agency that was named in collection account, on my credit report, via the address provided. I sent them my initial letter in XXXX of XXXX initiating my DISPUTE. Thirty days after I initiated my DISPUTE with this company requesting a FULL INVESTIGATION, they never responded. Furthermore, I did advise them that they were in violation for first of all not annotating on my credit file, that this account was in DISPUTE, which they never did, and they didn't respond to my letter as well.
On XX/XX/XXXX I reached out to them yet again, via Certified Mail SN # XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, which in fact was my SECOND letter to their office regarding this inaccurate entry on my report. I requested that they again, either investigate these charges for validity and provide me with this information, or delete this entry from my credit file, which still wasn't marked as being in DISPUTE and they haven't responded.
As of XX/XX/XXXX, I wrote them yet again, via Certified Mail SN # XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, asking them to please do the right thing and remove this account that is being reporting in violation of the law and its inaccurate in its entirety. I also provided the SN # XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and the time stamp it was received which was XX/XX/XXXX @ XXXX, and all this still with no response, yet they continue to report this account.
This is causing a major problem for me personally, and has hindered my family from acquiring the financial products that we need to purchase our first home. I have given them more than enough time to validate the information, and if nothing else to at least mark this as DISPUTED which they have not. I need this information REMOVED/DELETED off my credit reports immediately. There is no validity to this alleged account and they can not validate themselves.
In closing, I am requesting that you have them remove these inaccurate entires on my credit reports without prejudice.

During Covid I was hospitalized for approximately three months starting on XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX. On initial hospitalization my insurance switched from my previous employer to state of Kentucky Medicaid. The initial start date of the Medicaid was incorrect which later caused some issues between my previous insurance and Medicaid as to who was going to cover the hospital expenses. This took over a year to correct with medicaid finally being backdated to reflect the correct start date of coverage. All medical companies that were affected, and still waiting for insurance to cover the bills, were notified to resubmit to Medicaid. Some companies grew impatient and submitted claims to debt collectors which in turn filed claims against my credit rating. Additionally, debt collector - Merchants Credit Guide - began harassing phone calls several times a day concerning a {$300.00} dollar debt to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Kentucky which is part of the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. It got to the point where I didnt answer the calls and turned off my voicemail. Both the XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX were made aware of my situation by both myself and the XXXX Kentucky Health Department, yet XXXX XXXX forwarded my dept to a collection agency. XXXX credit brings my XXXX credit rating to just below XXXX. Its frustrating and aggravating they can do this and I want them to remove the blemish affecting my credit rating and to stop the phone calls! It will likely take 3 to 4 weeks for Insurance to process the claim so knock it off!

I never received an initial bill, and it was sent to collections for {$18.00}. Absolutely ridiculous. I also never received any phone calls or voicemails to ensure I received my bill before it was sent to collections. For such a low amount one would believe the company would call to ensure I got it.

I noticed a medical bill last year that showed up on all 3 of my credit bureaus in the amount of {$320.00} first opened on XX/XX/2016 by Merchants Credit Guide. I have called several times attempting to resolve this debt because it is mine. However I was told by XXXX XXXX XXXX that the account was paid in full by my insurance XXXX XXXX. After several attempts by myself and XXXX and XXXX XXXX to resolve this issue we get No where. I have called several times myself and been on 3 way calls with the billing clerk at XXXX XXXX XXXX and Merchants to resolve the issue and Merchants Credit Guide, but they persistently say the bill was Never paid XXXX XXXX also attempted to fax them documents showing it was paid and they still refuse to remove the collection. Merchants Credit Guide customer service is very rude and demanding. I asked them to send me a form of validation and I never received it. This account is actually mine, but it's been paid by XXXX XXXX and Merchants Credit Guide still refuses to remove the collection. They have threatened to sue me in court contact the police and been harassing me with phone calls. I have prove it was paid and since they choose to not send me a form of validation I will not contact them anymore. I would really appreciate any insight or help resolving this issue. I have disputed it 3 times with No luck.
