Complaint What Happened Receivables Performance Management called my cell phone from XXXX. I returned the call and RPM immediately began asking questions about where I lived, last 4 of social security, mailing address. I asked what the call was about and requested verification of any debt owed, to which they responded they could not give out that information. -- -- - To be clear, I do not owe any debt, and the address they had for me was for a rental property I own.

Complaint What Happened My wife and I have been getting calls from XXXX ( collection company for XXXX ) the calls started Monday say we owed a bill. They say the service was disconnected in XXXX of XXXX and that we owe a bill over XXXX. The service was discontinued in XXXX of XXXX and the equipment was returned in XXXX of XXXX. We moved the end of XXXX this year XXXX and have no bill associated with the company listed. We have several confirmation emails from XXXX saying the service was canceled late last year and a receipt from XXXX from where we mailed back the equipment. They have called at least 10-13 times ( 3-5 times a day ). They are rude, hateful and outright disrespectful. They have been told not to call again, we have emailed the company with proof. Complaint What Happened On XX/XX/XXXX I went to a XXXX XXXX store to pay my bill that was owed on my canceled service. I forgot to take the companys equipment with me. They told me it would be turned over to collections the next day. I paid the bill but the amount for the equipment stayed on my account. On XX/XX/XXXX I dropped the equipment off and was given a receipt for {$0.00} balance. A week or two later I started to get phone calls from collection agency. I explained to them what had happened. A few weeks later I got a call again and I once again told the man what happened and that I wasnt paying them for something I didnt owe. So here we are and I just want this taken off my credit report. Can you please help me?

Complaint What Happened I went with another cell carrier in XXXX, 2016. XXXX XXXX, I received an invoice from XXXX, for the pay amount on XXXX phones that I was doing the lease on. The bill was {$590.00}. I sent payment for {$360.00}, conformation # XXXX. The payment was due XXXX XXXX. I figured XXXX would then send me an updated bill for the balance. However, without another word from XXXX, they sent it to a collection agency, RPM. RPM have been calling my phone and home phone 4 to 6 times a day. I contacted them XXXX/XXXX/16, to see who this company was. And why they continue contacting me. That is when I found out, it was over XXXX. I told the lady, I had not received another invoice from XXXX or even from them. She stated they mailed it and would mail another. I informed, again, I had not received notice from XXXX or them. She said they sent a notice on XXXX and that is all that is required. I informed her to stop calling and send my notice. She refused and hung-up on me.I can pull phone records to show the number of calls, I have received. RPM have made 4-6 calls daily for a couple weeks. Which is the time she stated they mailed a notice. This is extreme. They are refusing to send me a notice. I believe XXXX should send me the total, my payment, and a balance.

Complaint What Happened I settled an old credit card account. We agreed on a payoff amount on certain date. I have the letter stating the agreement. The amount was paid, taken from my checking account on the date agreed upon. 3 months later I am getting calls from other collection agencies trying to get the balance of this same account. I have called the collection agency that I worked with initially and they were supposed to send me letter stating this was paid in settlement agreement. They will not send the document and it is still showing on my credit report as balance owed

Complaint What Happened In XX/XX/2021 I got a phone call and then a letter from a collection agency called Receivables Performance Management LLC. They said that I owe XXXX to XXXX XXXX XXXX for a XXXX XXXX bill for services at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Ky XXXX. I do not live at that address and never authorized anyone to open an account in my name. This bill has to be fraud. I have written to that collection agency several times and talked to them on the phone several times. They told me to keep it off my credit report I need to file a police report.I filed a police report for fraud with The XXXX police department. The incident report number XXXX. I then sent to information to the collection agency. It still went on my credit report which caused my score to drop 52 points.I am still receiving notices from them saying I need to pay the bill.

Complaint What Happened I moved from XXXX to XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. I tried to get XXXX at my new house and they told me I was not eligible because I had an open acct at my old XXXX address. I explained to XXXX that was a joint acct between XXXX and I and we had split. When I asked XXXX to remove my name from the acct I was told that he had to do it because he was the primary acct holder. I immediately contacted him, we share a daughter, and asked him to call and let them know I no longer lived there and hadn't lived there in 3 yrs. XXXX then called me and told me he had my name removed. When I called XXXX back about 1 week later I was able to get the service with no issues, so I assumed my name had been removed off the other acct and the issue had been resolved since the representative allowed me to open an acct here in XXXX. Apparently this issue was not resolved and there is a delinquent bill at the address in XXXX. I contacted XXXX and explained to them the situation and that I am currently a XXXX account holder and am current on my account. I also explained what had happened when I originally tried to get XXXX here in XXXX back in XXXX and was not able to. At no point was I contacted by mail or phone to even notify me that I had an outstanding balance on anything, and certainly not 2 cable accounts that range from {$150.00} to {$200.00} dollars a month. I certainly would not have let it go to collections. This should not be on my credit report due to it is not my account. This has a negative impact on my credit score and showing I owe XXXX/ Receivables Performance Management in the amount of {$940.00}. Not only was the account delinquent they also have not returned the equipment apparently. If you check anything on me you will see that I have not resided in XXXX since XXXX, or at that address since XXXX. My transfer from my job can also confirm this information. Complaint What Happened In XXXX of 2021 was contacted by phone by Receivables Performance Management ( RPM ). The rep insisted that I defaulted on a car lease roughly XXXX prior & said I owed more than {$1000.00}. I made it clear that this was not a debt I was responsible for & requested a copy of the contract I allegedly defaulted on be emailed to me. To date no such contract has been sent to me, rather a generic " claims letter '' was sent out via USPS & then the account was reported as being in default to the credit bureaus. The letter was a clear attempt to bypass fair credit reporting laws, as I was quite specific in my request for proof of debt & what was sent instead doesn't begin to PROVE I am liable. At best RPM is guilty of skirting the rules that govern the matter & at worse they are guilty of knowingly attempting to collect on an account that was closed in good standing.

Complaint What Happened Received a call on my cell phone today at XXXX am looking for my husband. We have not received any notification of this debt from the collection agency or my rights to dispute the debt. They demanded payment within the first 30 days I would assume since I have received nothing from them. I told them I disputed it and the collector states " ok so you are disputing the debt? '' I answered yes. He said " okay '' and hung up. Since that call I have received 3 more calls as of XXXX about the debt. I asked them to cease and desist from calling my number. They put me on hold, transferred me to someone else. I asked the new person to not call my cell phone again, she asked if I knew XXXX. I said yes and to not contact me again. I explained to her that she had already violated FDCPA and she spoke over me I have no idea what she said she talked so fast and hung up on me. I will be hiring an attorney for FDCPA violation for not sending me notice of my rights to dispute and demanding money in the first 30 days of them receiving the file. I will also have attorney file TCPA violation for calling my cell phone repeatly and not ceasing and desisting as I instructed when the cell phone they called is mine and mine alone and is in my name alone.

Complaint What Happened I am showing an account on my credit report from receivables performance for XXXX account. I have already taken care of this with XXXX and do not owe any money. It started out with a balance of {$960.00}, and I filed a dispute with transunion due to me not owing this collection balance. This came back with the balance reduced to {$380.00} and with the remarks that it was disputed and meets FCRA requirements. I have reached out to both this company and XXXX and keep getting the run around. XXXX is telling me that it should have been removed from my credit report and credit karma because they are showing no collections balance with them and showing this account had been taken care of. I need this deleted ASAP.

I wrote this letter in XXXX of XXXX to XXXX explaining I did not owe the debt they were collecting and the amount was not accurate. I am notify XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) within the thirty days that I dispute the validity of the entire debt XXXX is trying to collect. I paid my XXXX mobile bill automatically each month of {$38.00}. I do not know where XXXX is getting a figure of {$46.00}. Your creditor is in error. I do not owe anything. I called XXXX to tell them I would be ending my mobile service and that I would want a refund from the payment I had already made. I was told XXXX did not makes refund for payments already made. I ended my service feeling that I should have been given a refund. This has been over 11 months ago. Please correct your records as I do not owe XXXX anything. I again received a notice of collection for the debt in XXXX XXXX but I contacted the company within 30 days but never heard back from them until I received a call and told the person I had already disputed the bill. I am notify Receivables Performance Management ( RPM ) within the thirty days that I dispute the validity of the entire debt RPM is trying to collect. I paid my XXXX mobile bill automatically each month of {$38.00} for the month forward. I called XXXX to tell them I would be ending my mobile service immediately in XXXX of XXXX and that I would want a refund from the payment I had already made for service for that month. I was told XXXX did not makes refund for payments already made and I might as well keep the service to the end of the month. I told XXXX to end my service now as I had new service cell phone service and did not need it especially since I would have to call XXXX again to cancel my service. I further stated I did not think it was good policy to not get refunds to customers and this action would be an additional reason I was leaving XXXX XXXX. I immediately cancelled my automatic payment with my credit card company. I received another bill from XXXX for the XXXX service. I contacted XXXX and was told I owed for XXXX. I told them I ended my service in XXXX and the XXXX representative told me that XXXX billed for XXXX in XXXX prior to cancelling my service in XXXX. I told the XXXX representative to please remove the charges for XXXX. The XXXX representative said she could not. I told her that was very silly. I canceled my service in XXXX and not only am I not getting a refund for XXXX which I paid in XXXX. You are charging me for service in XXXX that I am not using. I told the XXXX representative that I would never pay this as I was not using the service and another reason I was so happy to be through with XXXX. XXXX representative told me that was policy but representative would see what she could do. XXXX turned this over to a collection agency. This is the second attempt by a collection agency to collect this debt. Please correct your records as I do not owe XXXX. Thank you of your attention to this matter. I was checking my credit report on XXXX and saw that a collection for debt had been placed on my account in XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX by RPM for a debt of {$46.00}. I promptly connected the company by phone on XX/XX/XXXX and asked them to remove the report as I did dispute the amount. I was told by Mr. XXXX that they had done an investigation and that XXXX told them I owed the bill. I stated that I did not and owe and I have never received any information written information about the dispute. He asked if I like to speak with a supervisor and then I was disconnected. I called back but they would not accept my call I left a voice message but do not expect a resolution. I thought the collector had to send me written verification of the debt, like a copy of a bill for the amount you owe, before it can start trying to collect the debt again. RPM never did this.

Complaint What Happened I have request validation of this alleged debt, account number XXXX, from Receivables Performance Management numerous of times on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and on XX/XX/XXXX I sent a demanding letter certified mail requesting once again, validation and proof of claim. Each time I have disputed this alleged debt Receivables Performance Management updated and verify the account with all three credit bureau, but as YET to send me anything validating this collection account that they are reporting I paid! I uploaded one of the letters that I sent certified, requesting Full validation.
