Firstsource Advantage , LLC contacted XXXX XXXX and proceeded to ask him if he knew XXXX XXXX. The guy stated that she had a credit card with XXXX that she owed {$810.00} on and that the debt had been sent to collections. I do not know how they got XXXX XXXX XXXX name nor his phone number and they should NOT have shared personal debt information with a third party. This is a violation of FDCPA, data protection and my privacy.

Well first off I never knew anything about this account until I received a bill in the mail. It has made my credit score drop and I never even knew anything about it. And how is {$950.00} due on an account that had a {$750.00} limit? Someone has committed fraud against me. After I received the bill on account I knew nothing about some investigating had to be done. My research shows the supposed account was opened on XX/XX/2019. The reported balance was {$0.00} on XX/XX/2019. If an account is closed how is a payment made on it? Furthermore, why is a payment made when it is already paid off and has a {$0.00} balance due? This account was not mine but it has very negatively effected my life. Who can pay me back for the manhours investigating, punitive damages, defamation, emotional stress etc.? Something needs to be done and those liable should be responsible. This company stated they have attempted to send my records to validate my debt and I have received nothing in relation to this collection. One Advantage LLC is a third party and having medical records is a violation to my HIPPA rights. I am allowed under th e Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act ( HIPAA ) t o protect my privacy and medical records from third parties. I do not give any provider permission to release my medical information to a third party. I am aware that the HIPAA does allow for limited information about me but anything more is to only be revealed with the patients authorization. Therefore I request my release of HIPAA authorization.

A company is trying to collection many medical debts which are also listed on my personal credit file. I have requested several times for verification which this company will not furnish a signed authorization allowing medical bills obtain. They just furnish a statement which proves nothing. I asked to validate the numerous listings on my personal credit file and again all I receive is statements. Years ago many years ago I did have a bunch of medical bills but were taken care of years ago. Is n't there laws on validating a debt a collection agency is trying to attempt to collect? I know that every time you go to the doctors and or hospital they have you sign an authorization form. Please help assist me with these. There are a total of XXXX listed on my credit file.

I have sent several letters asking this company to verify my debt and they have yet to send over any documentation showing that said debt. They continue to report this debt to the credit reporting agencies which is damaging my credit. I have the right due to the Fair Credit Reporting Act to request this information and be provided with it in a timely manner. If they fail to do so they should immediately have this taken off my credit report.
