I receive a statement with the payment due date, the XXXX of each month. The minimum payment on the statement is {$79.00}. I noticed on my XXXX statement that the {$100.00} I paid XX/XX/XXXX went towards interest and none towards the principal. I called the customer service agent, and he explained I actually owed more interest than printed on the monthly statement and my minimum payment is lower than the actual amount I owe. I explained to the agent if I would have known I owed more money I would've paid more money because I want to pay this off. I also explained how it is illegal to send a statement out with one set of numbers then on the back end of their software have totally different numbers. I asked to speak with the supervisor. The supervisor explained my minimum pay is from the original company they purchased the loan from, and their company has different interest that charges per day that they have access in the computer to see. I asked why this information is not on my monthly statement. He instructed me to write a letter to the company requesting this information. I advised him, I don't have to write a letter, and he should escalate this complaint up the chain of command. All I want is a monthly statement with all the amounts and fees that I actually owe so I can pay this quicker.

So, I've tried working with the original loan owners ( XXXX ) and having them work with my XXXX XXXX, then filing with the XXXX and CFPB with XXXX. They weren't merely unhelpful, they were condescending and just awful. They've since sold this loan to a backwards, archaic to the point of feeling really sketchy company called SST, which I've heard is a debt collection company ( I think because they knew they were having problems collecting on their predatory loans ). I've tried to get this company to work with my XXXX XXXX XXXX, but I think they have even few people working in customer service.
I got the so-called credit builder ( or I thought it built credit ) loan in XXXX where they gave me {$1500.00} ( I only wanted an outright loan, but they only gave me this option and tacked on {$2500.00} in " savings '' that I couldn't touch with the gouging interest rate of XXXX XXXX with a credit score of XXXX and an estimated income of around {$34000.00} gross income with a huge debt burden already ( I think it was {$8000.00} XXXX then maybe more ). Most personal loans were denied me. I don't understand why I was even offered this. It is predatory. Oh, and the payments were {$200.00} a month. A HUGE burden. I was trying to use this to pay off loans, to improve my situation. I thought that would increase my credit, and I could pay off this predatory loan with huge payments, the only way it would have been worth it. Instead my credit barely changed until recently ( but my debt burden is so high, I still only can get payday loans which are worse ). My debt increased a huge amount. I started having to take out cash advances, other small loans, and starting getting late on bills which I've never done before. I have since had to borrow $ XXXX from my mother with no end in sight to having to keep asking for money as well as constantly using my cash advances. Plus I've had help from family knowing I was struggling, so extra help besides that from my mom. I'd been managing ( tight, but without any help, any late bills, any cash advances ) my previous debt ok, but after I got the XXXX loan, it all snowballed and I was looking at what if I had to file bankruptcy until I found out about debt management programs and started one with XXXX ( which XXXX refused to work with after saying they would ) and which caused my credit cards to be closed. I've paid {$1600.00} to XXXX, I received {$1500.00} I've received to date from XXXX. I tried to get the new lender to work with my XXXX, but I've heard nothing for two weeks. Absolutely as uncaring and unwilling to work with me in any way as XXXX.

I contacted SST about a XXXX-time extension of my monthly payment because I was concerned that the terms of the loan were illegal, and I did not trust the company and wanted time to do some more research. I was told, explicitly, on the phone that my XXXX monthly payment would be deferred to XX/XX/XXXX instead of XX/XX/XXXX. After XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter from SST letting me know that I had a late payment. I called SST to clarify with them, saying that I was told my payment would be deferred for a month. The representative on the phone told me that my previous request for an extension had been denied. I was never told previously that this extension was a request. I was told, explicitly, that my new payment date was XX/XX/XXXX, verbatim " Your new due date is XX/XX/XXXX ''. I was not given an explanation for why I was lied to on the previous call. I was again not given a confirmation number or written confirmation that that had processed or even requested an extension, even though I requested written confirmation on the phone. I was told by the representative that they re-submitted the request and that I can call back in XXXX days to see if it's been approved, which is not aligned with what the previous representative told me.

My complaint is actually about two companies. I enrolled in XXXX to help reduce my credit card debt at a lower interest. Out of nowhere, they went out of business and transferred our loans to a company called SST Inc. My complaint with XXXX is that meant I had TWO monthly payments unexpectedly, and in transferring to this company, my interest rate essentially doubled, which is a real problem given that I enrolled in XXXX specifically to get a lower interest rate. I called and emailed XXXX with questions and they just refused to answer because they said they were closing.
The larger problem, however, is actually with SST ( System and Services Technologies ). Below is a list of all of the issues Ive had with them, which includes unexpected, unjust fees : 1. I never agreed to any of their loan terms. They simply assigned me a rate and day and expected me to pay it.
2. The emails and website look fake, like phishing attempts. I actually dont trust it, not least of all because their website doesnt have sufficient security in place. I am REALLY worried about sharing my banking info with a company that doesnt look real and that could be hacked by almost anyone. It seems to me that consumers should be entitled to just a basic level of trust in a company asking this much of them.
3. A ton of reviews of the company says they withdraw money from your account, unauthorized, unexpectedly. This is yet another reason I dont trust them.
4. I finally received a statement and the payment options are archaic and unfair. entering your banking information for autopay is the ONLY way that doesnt have a fee attached to the payment. ( But, based on the reviews I mention above, you can see why Im hesitant to do this. ) making one time payments online comes with a fee of up to XXXX, and making payments on the phone incurs a fee of up to {$10.00}. This is crazy. I should not have to pay an additional fee to an untrustworthy company if I am making payments on time.
The worst part about this is that I never agreed to work with SST or willingly entered into a loan with them. I literally never would have agreed to this. It feels wrong to mislead and take advantage of consumers in this way.

I had signed up for an account with XXXX several years ago. I always paid my bill on time, but XXXX consistently had issues, including not paying credit card bills that they had agreed to pay because of a fluke in their system. With less than a month 's notice, XXXX transferred my account to Systems & Services Technologies ( SST ), who notified me of new loan terms that did not reflect the agreement I made with XXXX, and a new monthly minimum which was much higher than the monthly bill I was paying to XXXX. When I attempted to contact SST via email and phone, I could not get a hold of them. Once I finally did, after multiple attempts, they told me they would submit a request for my account to be reviewed to see if I could negotiate the terms of the loan or receive a lower monthly payment. I was told it would be a 24 hour wait on that decision, but it has been 48 hours now and no word. I am concerned because other customer testimonials say that SST has taken unauthorized payments out of their bank accounts, so I am hesitant to give them my banking information in order to pay the bill. I did not agree to the terms of this loan.
