I opened this account for home XXXXmprovements. I wasn't aware of the difference of how this visa credit card compared to a normal credit card. I later realized this was a credit line draw account. How payments are being applied to the account is confusing as well. I even applied additional payment to see how that would change the balances of the oldest credit draws on the account.
I went on XXXX XXXX orders XXXX XX/XX/2022. I didn't have time to request SCRA until XX/XX/2022. This is when the account went crazy and nothing makes sense.
Statements and draws changed over the course of the month. Min payments on the account do not reflect statement minimal due. Account then goes into default I have to call or email about the issue and they change everything again. They stated multiple time when i take a new draw the whole transactions has to be recalculate like the system can't compute the new interest rate. Which the account doesn't reflect the new SCRA rate still says 15.99 %. I was never told of what the actually credit amount was applied to my account. My rewards balance went negative for months and no one was able to correct until recently but still doesn't make sense. If I'm suppose to get 1 % cash back that shouldn't change or decrease when going into SCRA terms. Interest and principal being applied to the account each payment shows how much of the payment is applied to the principal and to interest but I can't access past breakdowns. Resolutions states its on my statement but the numbers do not add up with data from the site and on statements. I also don't believe my balance is accurate per my transactions and payments but with lack of clear data and messy statements and entire transactions being changed on statements. Also when i requested SCRA I received a NON-NEGOTIABLE PROMISSORY NOTE Date : XX/XX/2022 ( " Effective Date '' ) i thought this was weird and unethical after requesting SCRA on XX/XX/2022.

I have a problem with this company ( Upgrade credit card-XXXX XXXX Bank XXXX reporting that I have an open-ended revolving line of credit ; and yet they will not allow me to use my availability. Per CFPB is this even illegal? It should be reporting to the bureaus accordingly. I am not over my limit, I have not missed a payment, and when I wrote a correspondence asking when theyd review my card not working they stated they will not and it will stay locked forever. As in, I can never access the supposed open-ended availability. But yet are reporting opposite to all 3 bureaus?
So theyre reporting an open ended LOC on a revolving account yet - I cant access the funds. Sounds like illegal reporting to me. If Im not allowed to use the card there should have been a note that it would be closed with NO availability. Instead theyre illegally reporting and I do not have access to the funds. Today was the most recent date of reading out to them. XXXX. Thanks for your help.

I am a victim of fraudulent/inaccurate items of this account reporting on my credit file. I have sent several disputes via mail to try and resolve the problem. My rights as a federally protected consumer are being violated as sated in the Fair Credit Reporting and and Fair Debt Collection Privacy Act. I have filed a complaint with the Federal Trae Commission and my rights are still being violated. My general reputation and my ability to obtain credit is being tarnished. I need to have these account removed from my credit file immediately.

I applied for an Upgrade Rewards checking account ( serviced through XXXX XXXX Bank ). I sent in documentation via drivers license and live picture of myself. I called and was verified over the phone. I was told that it would take a few days and I would receive approval email. I received denial letter instead the next day.
I called back asking for an explanation since it says Identity could not be verified Unable to find credit profile at bureau from XXXX
I confirmed my XXXX profile is not currently frozen. I assumed it was a mistake since the information on my Drivers License matched my credit profile and I've never experienced this issue before. I talked with someone and he said he couldn't provide any more information and suggested I try again. I tried again, sent multiple follow-up emails to support and am still receiving the same notification ( attaching ).

Pursuant to 15 USC 1681c- my consumer rights were violated by not having the alleged debt deleted from my credit file when I informed you that I was a victim of identity theft. I never applied for a loan which would cause me to be in debt and owe any outstanding balance. It is unlawful to attempt to collect on a debt that is not owed. My payday from my job was XX/XX/year>. I got paid late afternoon on XX/XX/year> and everything was fine. I paid some bills, locked my card and went to bed. Got up for work, got gas and some stuff for inch, breakfast and headed to work. Everything was fine then. I locked my card once I got to work. I checked my account around XXXX to find out my accounts had been suspended and my debit card is locked. I took a lunch to make a phone call and no one can tell me why or how I can get access to my funds. Im told I need to wait for email communication. I opened my email to find a vague email stating it was suspended for suspicious activity. I email them back, and Im told my account was under review and that I would receive email correspondence once done. I called again after I got off work, and was told it the back office stated it was suspicious transactions, but still no answer about as to what or why. Ive had issues in the past where the bank has sent text and have called to verify transactions but I wasnt given any information about anything going on with my account. I cant use my card, I cant transfer money out of my accounts. Im not able to do anything and no one has contacted me to explain to me as to why my account is under review. I have children. I am a XXXX XXXX of XXXX XXXX under the age of XXXX. I have bills, and I have an apartment I pay rent for. No ones been willing to at least let me transfer my funds out of that account so I can continue to provide a roof over me and my children head. I want answers. I want to know why this is happening and why there isnt anyone I can contact via phone to try to resolve this issue.

I am moving so I went online to change my address with Upgrade. There was not option to change my address online so I called customer service. I authenticated my account by providing my current address, phone number, last 4 of my social, and the last 4 of the bank account used to make payments. The customer service rep placed me on hold then came back to say I had to email the request to servicing @ upgrade.com along with a utility bill or my bank statement in order to change my address. I then emailed a letter from XXXX XXXX confirming I had ordered new service at my new address I received a reply saying that was not good enough. They asked me to send my bank statement as proof I had changed my address with my bank. My bank statement in confidential so I emailed them my new lease, the letter from XXXX XXXX, and an email confirmation from XXXX where I ordered internet service at my new address. Upgrade again refused to change my address. I was able to change my address with my bank online and all of my credit cards on line with very little effort. My concern is by refusing to change my address I won't be able to pay Upgrade because my bank has my new address and Upgrade has my old address. It seems like a ploy on Upgrade 's part to prevent me from making payments or to gain access to PPI that they don't need and are not entitled to which is not acceptable. I need help to resolve this issue.

In According to the fair credit reporting act this creditors has violated my rights under 15 usc 1681 section 602 ( a ) states that i have the right to privacy and under 15 usc 1681 section 604 ( a ) section2 also, states a consumer reporting agency can not fervish account information without my written instructions. And us 15 code1666 ( b ) a creditor may not treat a payment on a credit card account under an open end consumer credit plan as a late for any purpose.

I am a victim of identity theft which have created a great deal of XXXX and XXXX. I submitted an identity theft report complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. My consumer rights of me being a natural person under the Fair Debt Collection Privacy Act USC 1692 and Fair Credit Reporting Act 1681 are being violated. Upgrade are breaking federal law attempting to collect a debt that is not owed. I do not owe Upgrade any money and demand that they stop attempting to collect the alleged debt and delete any internal records of the alleged debt and stop the false reporting to the credit bureaus ( XXXX XXXX and XXXX ). I am also requesting an audit trail according to GAAP that any money was given to me. If any account was created using my social security number ( which I didn't authorize ) that would make me the creditor not the debtor. How can the creditor owe any alleged debt? They can not according to congress! 15 USC 1692 states that it is fraudulent to furnish a deceptive form to make me think I owe an alleged debt when they became a " debt collector '' after " Me '' the Original Creditor creates a creditor by giving them credit to extend back to me. I do not owe any alleged debt and demand that the alleged debt be deleted immediately or I will seek remedies for the violation of my consumer rights under congress law!
