around XX/XX/XXXX i contacted sterling talent solutions about being denied employment with XXXX. they didnt help me with anything and didnt offer to investigate the issue. i wanted them to point me in the right direction of what needed to be done but i was rushed off the phone. they didnt care at all about me being so upset about the problem.

I'm extremely frustrated with Sterling background check services. I've submitted my details as a result of offer employment on XX/XX/XXXX. I've received a deficiency request on XX/XX/XXXX and I provided them the details on the same day. My date of joining was early XXXX.
Currently, the criminal check is pending from one county in Kansas. The anticipated date of completion of the check was XX/XX/XXXX. However, the completion date ( with escalations ) was pushed back to XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and now I have no idea when it is expected to complete. I'm sure a background check should not take 45 days.
I have to call them to find out the dates and all the support representatives say is to wait until the targeted date. When I call them on the said date, they say it is postponed to a future date. All the representatives suggest is for me to ask the company that offered me a job, to let me work without Sterling doing their job of finishing my report.
The financial loss and XXXX that Sterling is causing me is immense. All I ask from them is finish my background check at the earliest.

I find it pretty stupid that Sterling Talent solutions does not do background check based on social security numbers, and that you get someone elses info on mine costing me employment. I have never had a criminal record and I have never been to XXXX so all the info pertaining to a XXXX XXXX is bogus, as well as anything else outside of XXXX where I have lived all my life except for 9 months in XXXX at which time I still owned my residence in XXXX.
